Trailhead Venues is a resort-style Smoky Mountain wedding venue in Cosby, just 23 minutes from Gatlinburg on the edge of the national park. Created by a seasoned wedding photographer and videographer, it pairs beautifully designed ceremony and reception spaces with luxury on-site lodging — so everyone you love can celebrate, and stay, together.

All packages include the Grand Hall, outdoor ceremony space, cocktail patio, bridal suite and groom's lounge, plus an on-site venue manager and security. Options range from a wedding-day celebration to a full weekend experience.

The Trailhead Luxury package includes all 15 cabins for Friday and Saturday nights — the ultimate weekend for you and your guests.

How many guests can the venue accommodate?

Up to 130 wedding guests, with ceremony and reception chairs for up to 130 on the Trailhead Luxury package.

How many people can the cabins sleep?

All 15 cabins together sleep up to 68 guests: twelve one-bedroom studio cabins, two two-bedroom loft cabins and the five-bedroom King Pool Cabin.

Can the public book the cabins?

Yes. The cabins are available to wedding guests and public stays. Depending on your wedding package, cabins can also be held for your celebration.

Are the cabins pet-friendly?

Trailhead Lodge #11 and #13 are pet-friendly (a pet fee applies). Dogs are welcome in outdoor venue spaces with a designated handler.

What if it rains?

The Grand Hall doubles as a beautiful indoor ceremony space, with mountain views through its nano doors.

Can we bring our own alcohol?

Yes, but it must be served by the venue's licensed bartenders. Catering and bartending are the only exclusive vendors; other outside vendors must be approved and insured.

What time can we access the venue?

Standard access is 10 AM to 10 PM on your event day. Early access and overtime can be added for a fee, based on availability.

Are there decor restrictions?

Open-flame candles are allowed indoors only. Fireworks, confetti and traditional sparklers aren't permitted — cold sparklers and bubbles make great send-offs.

How do we reserve a date?

Send an inquiry below. A 50% deposit reserves your date (Trailhead Luxury has a custom payment structure). Seasonal pricing and tours are available on request.

Is the venue accessible?

Yes, Trailhead Venues is fully handicap accessible.
