What you'll do

  • Perform guest-ready turnover cleans between stays, including bathrooms, kitchens, bedrooms and living areas
  • Strip, launder and reset linens and towels to our staging standards
  • Restock guest supplies and amenities and report low inventory
  • Inspect each cabin for damage or maintenance issues and report them with photos
  • Follow our cleaning checklist and photo-verification process on every job
  • Communicate promptly with our team on arrival, completion and any issues

What we're looking for

  • Full-time STR cabin cleaner, up to 42 hours per week (max). Fewer hours in the slow season, but your salary stays the same
  • Entry-level cleaning experience. Prior cleaning experience is not required — we will train you (short-term rental or hospitality experience is a plus)
  • Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
  • A smartphone for checklists, photos and scheduling
  • Availability on weekends and holidays, our busiest turnover days
  • Attention to detail, dependability and a positive attitude

Compensation

$40,000 base salary + up to $10,000 in bonusesSalary position · $40,000 per year guaranteed

To be crystal clear: this is a salaried position, not an hourly or per-clean job. Your $40,000 base salary is guaranteed and paid year-round — even in the slow season when there are fewer cleans. On top of that, you can earn up to $10,000 per year in bonuses.

  • Full commitment required. We are hiring full-time team members who are committed to Smoky Woods Retreats. This position is not a fit for cleaners who own and operate their own cleaning business or book of clients.
  • Supplies provided. All cleaning supplies and cabin supplies are provided by Smoky Woods Retreats — you never pay out of pocket.
  • Steady schedule. Up to 42 hours per week (max) in peak season, fewer hours in the slow season, same salary either way.
